Don't forget that Ancestry allows wildcards. A search term of John Cor* or John Cur* in Lancashire, Warrington is pretty good. If that doesn't work, try Mary Cor* (Ancestry doesn't seem to know that Jno = John but you can lay that problem firmly at Ancestry's door).
