Thank u for that information. It will help me finding out more info on my grandfather and his sister. They were put in the home in England in 1909. I am also doing background on my husbands grandfather whom was on of the home children too. I had a book and read it about the home children, cant remeber the name, but it made me cry. There was a program a few years ago about home children and made me cry as well. Alot of the home children had no idea about their family or where to begin. Alot of those children were treated so bad.
