Haven't come across this before but perhaps it's easily explained. Because I'm considering changing my subscription from A......y to FMP, I have been checking what info see, not a lot but it has thrown up this.
I have Elizabeth Hollow & husband Alexander in the 1901 census

I have found Alexander Dingle Hollows death in 1908 in Plymouth. On FMP there is a record of burial in Fowey, so he's been taken home to be buried & I'm delighted for another little find.
Elizabeth Hollow nee Prior/Pryor has always been a tough one, she is pretty consistant with her date of birth being 1837/1838 & the 1901 census records place of birth as Par, Cornwall but there is also Fowey. I can't go back further with her because I can't find a death. However after finding Alexander's burial in Fowey I thought I'd see is there is an Elizabeth Hollow & indeed there is with a dob of 1837 & year of burial 1907.
There is no record of FreeBMD of a death of an Elizabeth Hollow, the closest is 1909 & the age is out and registration district is Penzance. Since Alexander died in Plymouth I suspect Elizabeth did as well.
So my question to all you experts is, how do I order a death certificate when I can only give a year of death & no further details & would the burial details on FMP give any other details?
I would really like to trace Elizabeth back & since her birth is 1837/1838 it should be relatively easy but she is either being bulshy with me or... I don't know.
Thanks for your thoughts
Alison
