Trying to find Edwin James Morris who married Alice Edwards in 1897 in the Atcham, Shropshire R.D.
I know they had at least 2 sons. Trying to find Edwin and Alice isn’t made any easier with both sons being born after 1911
Alfred J 1912
Edwin A 1918
Both boys were born in Clun, Shropshire.
I think that Alice may have been born in Shropshire. I have been told that she is the cousin of my own gran who was also Alice Edwards.

how certain are you that their children were born after the 1911 Census? Could they have had earlier ones?
The 1911 Census (RG14PN15990 RG78PN985 RD346 SD3 ED9 SN9) for Cranmere Worfield Bridgnorth Shropshire has:
Edwin MORRIS b. abt. 1873 in Worfield, Shropshire occ: Cowman on Farm
Alice MORRIS b. abt. 1873 in Birmingham, Warwickshire
Joseph MORRIS b. abt. 1901 in Worfield, Shropshire
Lily MORRIS b. abt. 1903 in Worfield, Shropshire
Nellie MORRIS b. abt. 1905 in Worfield, Shropshire
Alice MORRIS b. abt. 1909 in Worfield, Shropshire
They had been married 14 years and had 6 children, two of whom had died.

Very Sorry, my mistake. Can’t read my own writing sometimes.
I had a marriage and had wondered why I had crossed it out. If only I had turned the page, I would have seen why I had disregarded it. The Edwin Morris – Alice Edwards combo that I should have been concentrating on were married in the Sept qtr of 1911. Therefore, they wouldn’t be together on either census.
Sometimes I’m not safe being let out on my own
Thank you both very much for taking the time to look. Sorry
Terry

Yes Nicolina, that was the one I had disregarded as the wrong one some time ago. I only kept it so that I would know it was the wrong one.
