    Welcome to British-Genealogy.

    I believe that you might be referring to a record on Forces War Rcords, in which case you need to read this first.

    You also need to be aware that different records will give you different information, and it is highly unlikely that any one record will ever give you all the details you'll looking for. e.g. a baptism record will give you no clue as to when or who someone married.

    This is a list of the collections which FWR have transcribed. Note that they do not include any service records, so by default, will not show enlistment details. (Or are unlikely to - I haven't gone through every single record set. )

    As Peter implies, more details about exactly what you are referring to, might help us to help you.
