Cleaned up and heavily photoshopped copy of the front
Heavily faded and writing re-done where readable, Maskell mentioned bottom right.
Back - Writing faded and not redone.

I'm on tenterhooks now....
Incidentally Charlie gets a mention at page 81 of Ian M Burns' excellent book Ben-my-Chree (Woman of my Heart), Isle of Man Packet Steamer and Seaplane Carrier:
"...within a few months Edmonds and CPO Attrill, one of BMC's torpedo artificers, were transferred back to Britain expressly to work on torpedo development."

HMS Ben-my-Chree and CPO Attrill
Hi Chas,
I was browsing the web for some vaguely associated information and found your original post regarding CPO Attrill.
My name is Ian Burns - James Maxwell mentioned my book on Ben-my-Chree in an earlier reply to your post. I've had a quick look through my files and cannot add anything directly concerning CPO Attrill, but would be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding his time on Ben-my-Chree.
It's more than possible that you can add to my knowledge about the ship. To find first hand accounts by crew members, rather than officers, is rare.
I look forward to sharing notes and information.
Regards
Ian
