Default Thomas Butler 1821/Julia Lynes 1841

I have been researching my family tree for some time but I have reached a brick wall with the irish side of my family, I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice or tips which might enable me to go further back with my family.

My great great grandfather was a Thomas Butler born circa 1821 and listed on familysearch as comming from Frankpark in Ireland, not finding a place called Frankpark I have presumed it could be Frenchpark as I do know that he was possibly from that area.

My great great grandmother was a Julia Lynes/Lyne born circa 1841 in Galway. I believe that they came over to settle in England during the 1850's, I don't know whether they were married in Ireland or when they came to settle in England.

Any advice, tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You Sybil

From the census it seems Julia was rather variable with her age and was born before 1841. They are not being very helpful with their birth places either.

It looks like there was another child before Henry...

    name: Margaret Butler
    baptism/christening date: 22 Dec 1852
baptism/christening place: St. Austin, Kenilworth, Warwick, England
    father's name: Thomas Butler
    mother's name: Julia Lynes
    (Source Family Search)

You will find more of their children's baptisms on Family Search.

Now I'm wondering about this ...

    Marriages Dec 1851 Newport (Shropshire) 18 197
    BUTLER, Thomas
    LYONS, Julia

The surname LYONS sounds similar to LYNES and the Newport registration district in Shropshire is not massively far from Kenilworth (about 50 miles or so.)

I use Irish Family History Foundation (google for it),It's free to search, but to view actual records costs money!
Anyhow a quick search gives me a Thomas Butler baptism in 1823 in Boyle R.C church, which is about 10 miles north of Frenchpark,Co Roscommon,no sign of a Julia Lyne/s Galway 1821 to 1861 or Lyons
