Default Who were Mary Ann's parents

Would some who has a subscription to FMP be kind enough to check if there any baptism records for

Mary Ann Cove born Plymouth about 1808 and if it's not too cheeky, her sister Eliza Cove's birth about 1820.

I am very lucky in that Eliza is listed as Mary Ann's unmarried sister is all the census & equally chuffed to have inherited a sampler done by Mary Ann aged 8, but it would be lovely to have some more details.

Thanks in advance for your assistance, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

Thank you Megan that fits in beautifully with one of Mary Ann's sons being called Edwin Nicholas & a daughter Elizabeth Jane. Now on to search for more of Mary Ann's & Elizas siblings since they were born 10 years apart..

    Thank you again

If the above are the family then maybe they moved to Modbury Devon and had their children re-christened in the new parish.

Modbury is a town and parish in the South Hams region of the English county of Devon. It is situated on the A379 road, which links it to Plymouth
If they had no proof that their children were christenened when entering a new parish then they were expected to christen their children again.

Hi Terry & thank you for the above. Every census I check against the Coves brings up this Modbury link, I will have to check it further but maybe tomorrow, I think the Christmas cheer has started a wee bit early this evening & by tomorrow my tree could need some very serious pruning!

    Thank you
