OK Colin ...like you, I can't find a suitable birth, so will leave that one alone!
Not having much luck with these Jones travelling back to Canada:
Nearest I've come is Mrs A Jones age 34 Dressmaker? with a son Cyril age 2
Depart Liverpool 5 May 1911 to Quebec
Ship: Empress of Britain (Canadian Pacific)
Unfortunately no address, infact no more info.. could be yours I suppose.
Not very helpful - didn't these people realise we'd be searching for them in the years ahead!!
Is it Fred Edward or Fred Edgar Jones?

I can confirm the addres of Thomas Fred and Mary Florence as 10 Gwdyr Crescent. It was where Thomas Fred. returned to in 1938 and presumably where he left from some time around 1945.
It was from this same address when suffering from Cancer that Mary Florence was living when admitted to Mount Pleasant Hospital and died on March 13, 1951.

I have developed more information that is of use to me in building the family, but I think that for the moment anyway, I want to concentrate on Cyril born 1907.
In 1930, specifically June 27, he arrived in Canada. I know who he planned to join [his brother, Frederick Edgar] and his marriage [to Agnes Gwendolyn on May 22, 1937.
As their 1st child was born in Swansea in March 1938 the couple obviously returned - when is not known.
When they left Liverpool on June 24 1940, their 2 year old son was with them, along with a 7 month baby named Cyril. I am satisfied that this child born in the last q. of 1939 in Swansea is not their child - but with a name - Jones - may be related.
There was a war on and after the war, the father of Cyril came to Canada. The death of the father in 1951 revealed certain facts about Cyril that I won't go into.
Can we finfd their return [Cyril and Agnes] prior the birth in 1938?

Hi Rebecca.
Just had what might be a 'crazy' thought, but is it possible that they didn't use a regular passenger liner? When Cyril arrived in Canada in 1930, his occupation was a Radio Engineer and he planned to continue in that field or in another engineering capacity. Is it possible he was working on a ship and his wife travelled back with him?

That was a wonderful find - New York is one heckuva distance though from where married [Calgary, Alberta].
Even 3rd class on the Queen Mary must have been a pleasant trip for a couple of newly weds. Guess that even then, a passage on such a ship wouldn't have been cheap!!

Colin, maybe it was a 'little treat' for newly weds on the great Queen Mary - only way to board was in New York!
Just let me check the list with you, we're left with
Fred. Edgar to Wales 1929-1932
Cyril to Canada before 1929
Thomas F to Canada 1945 ish!
Are there any other addresses to which they may have come back to..other than Gwydr Cres and Rhyddings Terr?
