Something else that really irritates me - those stupid leaf blowers. The chap from the council comes round with one of those and blows the leaves off the pavements and into the road. Then the wind blows them back again .......
Sadly, our dear friend Dorothy (alias Thomasin) passed away on Sunday, 17th. February, 2013.

Living in a town with no parking inspectors, we have a problem with inconsiderate motorists parking wherever they want - in taxi ranks, on corners, on double yellow lines, just anywhere. It's quite shocking how inconsiderate they are. And, no, it's not young people, it's the middle-aged who are too mean to pay for parking, and too tired to walk more than 10 yards.

Radio stations and my works radio station overplaying the same few Xmas songs such as Wizzard and Mariah Carey. I like Xmas but the run up is always stressful esp at work and arranging things.

I also dont like screeching women on Corrie. Gimme Emmerdale any time. In May 2010 I visited Esholt, where the village scenes used to be filmed.

Coming home from the pub last night after New Year and twisting my ankle. I was sober as well. I had to be taken to hospital as it fractured two bones. Argh. Gives me time to use the laptop a bit more though and search for those elusive ancestors.
