Researching the Graham family who lived at barrasford Fell, in the parish of Chollerton.

Looking for any information on this family previous to 1804.

Have you looked through the parish registers available to browse on Family Search? They have images of the parish registers of Chollerton from 1769-1868 and just looking at one page at random (page 150) brings up the burial record on 25 June 1823 of a Jane GRAHAM of Berryford, aged 66. It may take a bit of searching as there are 297 pages but could definitely be worth your while.

Hi jan,

Been through the Chollerton records with a fine tooth comb and have found several Graham families, mine seem to have wandered, they left Barrasford and went via Allendale, Shotley, Medomsley, Victoria Garesfield to Chopwell, Co. Durham. Changed from agricultural labourers to miners. There must have been a lot of cousins still in Barrasford area so will keep searching.
