Need some eagle eyes on this one, please. Trying to puzzle out the occupation of a young woman on the 1891 Canadian census in Smiths Falls, Ontario:
Victoria Tweedy, aged 24 is listed as being a wage earner, and having an occupation whose name I simply cannot decipher - looks like it might begin with the letter "I" or the letter "T" -- here are scans of the whole page (for comparison), along with the blow-up of the word:

Maybe 'Tailoress'? Though if it is the dot on the 'i' has gone rather adrift.

Thank you Ann and Coromandel!! As I was entering the info, I went and looked at this young lady's previous info, and in 1881 she reported being a tailoress!
