What I like about this particular site is the quality of one's fellow researchers. To me it's a bit like my golf - when one compares oneself with the true "artists" one realises that you've a long way to go. However, it does show that you can make a small supposition and become quickly in the mire - to use another word for something even nastier. I'm now about to dig again to see what/where Charley was between first entering the US and returning to home to marry and returning to Montana. Was he in Montana all the time? The Cornish are renown for their mining and he's a "Silver Miner" in the US but has he mined before and where. Did he trip regularly from the US to Cornwall? Why did they marry in the US - perhaps they met there rather than in Cornwall. Don't suppose one can discern motives or such actions however it's nice to speculate.

Once again, may I congratulate my helpers!
