Default Ancestry - 15 'free' collections

I'm not sure if anyone has already posted this, so apologies if it's old news.

Ancestry "are giving you free access to some of our most popular collections from around the world".

Each day for 15 days they are opening one of their collections - this lasts until 15th October. You can search the records for free but to view an idividual record you need to register with Ancestry, unless you have a subscrition.

    Full details at:

    Regards,

    maggie

It's a great offer Maggie and worth mentioning that once a collection has been opened it will remain free until the end of the period so some will be available for longer than others.

one of the 15 on offer is access to the 1901 census. Today my list of "People with hints" has an enormous number of hints for the 1901 census - most of which I have already attached to the relevant people. Ancestry say this is a "Tech issue" and are not yet sure how to resolve it. It will be very tedious if I have to check every one!
