    There certainly looked to be a few posh cars parked there now, though I doubt they were there when 'farver' was born, it would 'ave been an 'orse an cart.

    You,re right Mutley. It was indeed a horse and cart. "Grandfarver' was one of the first recyclers, Like the men on Steptoe and Son.
    I remember is being told that they lived close to a canel and the only access to the back garden was through the house and farvers horse lived in the back yard!
