Trying to establish the correct location and modern address of 3 Thyme's Lane Gateshead, shown as Oatwellgate on birth certificate, but believe this should be Oakwellgate.
Would like to establish the details of the family residing at this location in the 1891 census.

I think this should read Thyms Lane: RG12 Piece 4181 fol.18 p. 29

On this site: http://www.
picturesofgateshead.co.uk/local_maps/index.html the Bacon Map and the “Gateshead c1938” map both give very good close-ups of the area around Abbot Road and Oakwellgate using the zoom facility on my pc.
Neither show Thyms Lane specifically but using the description of the area covered by the 1891 Gateshead Enumeration District 32 on Ancestry and the 1891 census image, I worked out roughly where it used to be.
