Sue and Pam - oh you lucky people, so very pleased for you both (typical - all my lot were land lubbers).

I had checked as soon as the email came through and as I said earlier my ancestors were all pre-1915 mariners. Then after reading and replying to Pam's post I thought again and checked for a couple of great uncles.... Found one with a picture ( now I know who my Dad took after! ) and also a cousin of that great uncle ( 3rd or 4th cousin to me) who looks identical to the great uncle! Lots of folks doing the FMP dance!

I am so darn jealous Pam, but thrilled for you. Now I REALLY WILL have to get some credits and have a look for "my" lost seaman.
I have not been able to do much this summer aside from mopping up after floods, finishing renovations and looking after my first chickens ever!
Wish me luck as the Walsh's are hard to find and expensive to waste credits on! My happy dance for you is

A bit embarrased...
Pardon my ignorance, but what does FMP stand for?
Thanks!
