the 1901 census has this entry:
6 Gordon Street, Moss Side, Manchester
Charles Tysoe age 48
Lucy age 38
Charles A age 15
Gertrude age 14
Gerald age 10
Douglas age 10
Annie M age 8
Wilfred age 7
Leonard age 6
Harold age 3
Stanley B age 1
Eric 11 months.
This census return has been transcribed as Tysor but corrected by a J Tysoe who is interested in the Tysoe's of London.

Thanks for your help.
I am just trying to find as many family members as possible. I know there are living Tysoe family members in NZ and hopefully they might spot this. Long-shot I know.

There are only 8 families in NZ according to
http:
//yellow.co.nz/whitepages
I suggest that you write to them all and explain clearly where you are coming from and your intentions, perhaps also make the offer of supplying them with some of the research.
