Hello everyone,
My name is Emily. I am 22 years old and am currently on summer break from college. I have lived in Washington (state), USA my entire life. My great-grandfather emigrated from England (with a short stop in BC, Canada) to Seattle, Washington. I have been interested in my family's history for a very long time but only recently began researching. I have been having a lot of fun with it and have made some progress and look forward to making more.

Welcome Emily - you come from a very beautifil part of the world. I just wish that I had started my family history when I was 22! Apart from still having family around to ask, when you come over here to visit the places your ancestors hailed from your knees won't be too creaky to walk up the hills!!
