Hi Colin,

Mount Pleasant hospital (previously Tawe Lodge, the workhouse) on Terrace Road Swansea would be the nearest to Swansea docks, Swansea General and eye hospital was a little further away at St Helen's Road Swansea.
I know that there are admission books to Mount Pleasant hospital (found my 2x great grandfather there in 1912) which are at;
