    Is this a possible for Lucy born c1844
    1870 US census
    Dunmore Luzerne
    John Cordey 40 laborer born England
    Lucy 25 England
    Louisa 5 Pennsylvania

    Lucy's birth reg Clutton March 1/4 1844 Lucy Louisa Chiverse vol 11 page 106. So did she give her Pennsylvania born dau her own second name of Louisa.

    My George Chivers was indeed born in Timsbury, Somerset to Thomas Chivers and his second wife Mary West he married Emma Lintern in Timsbury on May 13 1837, his only son George Jr remained in England and eventually moved to Wales.

    Have you had any success? I have traced several of the sisters, but a couple are still hiding from me. Julia Chivers Memory was my ggm.

    I have two of them, but the others are eluding me at the moment, to be honest I have put them aside for a little while hile I regroup and begin again in the not to distant future.
