I wonder whether someone can help me out I have been looking into my Chivers family in the Somerset coalfields and came across one particular relation named James Thomas Tucker born in 1823 in High Littleton, Somerset as one of seven children born to John Tucker and Rebecca Chivers James Thomas Chivers died in Shepton Mallet Gaol in May of 1840 and I wanted to know if there was any website that held information to tell me why he was in Gaol, thank you for the time any help would be welcomed thank you.
Kind Regards
Beth
