Hello,
I am trying to find any information about the couple Samuel Quinton who married Susanna Fowler 15 Jul 1771 Hawkchurch. I have one possible for Susanna, Susanna born 1749 Jul 9 Chard, Somerset to John and Avice Fowler.
Any help appreciated.

Hello Trudy,
Samuel and Susannah appear to have baptised at least five children at Hawkchurch between 1772 and 1788; Elizabeth, Daniel, Mary, Samuel and Peter.
Also at Hawkchurch a generation earlier, Daniel and Mary QUINTON/QUINTEN baptised these two children;
John QUINTEN 10 Jun 1742 [C15902-1]
Mary QUINTON 24 Aug 1744 [ '' ]
Given that Daniel and Mary are names repeated in Samuel's family, I think this couple are strong candidates for Samuel's parents. There is also a possible mistranscription;
Samuel LENTIN 08 Feb 1746, parents Daniel LENTIN and Mary, Hawkchurch, Dorset [ C15902-1]
The bottom loop of a Copperplate capital Q is the same as an L, and if the writing wasn't very clear, it's easy to see how it could have happened. The date fits and there are no other LENTIN baptisms, so it 's worth considering.

Well done, that looks like a definite possibility, Kilmington is only just the other side of Axminster. If they married in 1730, there would presumably be several children before John 1742.
Sorry I don't have access to the Hawkchurch death records.
