How old? 1861 - John Cray

Anyone with good eyesight able to hazard a guess at the age of John Cray?

and the surname of the household above him as well? Is it Booker?

I would go with 30, comparing it with some of the "more obvious" 3s elsewhere in that page

I think the age is 30 for John Cray (his wife on the next page is age 23) - the name above is given as Barke on the FMP transcription, it looks more like Burke to me.

I thought it should be 30 if he were to be my John Cray ... which I think he is as the wife and daughters tally ... not sure about the Ireland bit for the youngest daughter Sarah though
