    Its good when its correct....this is a cousins site, he had a copy of the marriage cert which disproves Joe marrying "our" Kate, but over 12 months on its still incorrect...sigh

    Hi,

    Just spotted this thread regarding Maltby Grange. My great uncle, Herbert Mollekin, who constructed Maltby Model village, lived in 'The Grange' throughout the 1920's (and I thought before) and his wife continued living there until her death in 1938 I believe. At some point, the residence was converted into offices for Maltby or Rotherham Council. It is now the site of sheltered accommodation / residential home. The Grange was situated on Carr Lane.

    I have a fantastic photo of The Grange dating from, I suspect, the 1920's if you'd like to see a copy.

    Hi Craig, Id love to see a photo please.
    interstingly today I found 2 entries after the Burgess family on the 1911 census theres a family called Morton, living ar 2 Carr lane!
