Default Location of St. Michaels Lane, Lincoln

Can anyone help me to trace this address. St. Michaels Lane, Lincoln City. It was within the Parish of St. Michaels which I believe is within the location of the castles. My Great great Grandfather, Phillip Hooseman was employed as a Black Smith at number 22 St. Michaels Lane in the 1891 census, however, the nearest I can find is Michaelgate. I dont suppose this is the same place and the location that I'm searching for may no longer exists. But if anyone can provide me with some information, I would be most greatful.

    Many thanks,

    Patrick

I think you may find that's actually St Michaels' Terrace. It still exists according to Google maps and streetview.

There may have been just a little redevelopment

PS A tip - don't overlook the description of the enumeration district. In this case the street names are all listed in amazingly legible handwriting!
