Default George (Morton?) Watson in Cambridgeshire

    Hi Folks

With a lot of help from B G forum members particualry Olliecat I beilive that George was born about 1898 in March Cambridgeshire, the son of Henry (aka Harry) Watson and Catherine (ne Risely?), as on his marriage cert he gives his address as March Cambridgeshire and says his father is Harry Watson a boilersmith. I have found the family in the 1901 and 1911 census living at 9 Hutchinsons Row, March, Cambridgeshire.

Could anyone who has access to baptism records for the area tell me when George Watson might have been baptised?

    Many thanks

    Richard

Hi Richard FreeBMD has a possible North Witchford district. Jan 1898 volume 36 page 560. It might be worth sending for the certificate but stating that the parent should be Henry and or Catherine. That way if it is the wrong one you won't be charged. Don't have any parish records I am afraid.
