1901 in FMP has Gorliar David born 1899 in Blaina
1901 Ancestry has Gorham Davia born 1899 in Blean
She is living in Blaina, Aberystruth, her parents are John and Sarah, siblings Samuel, Mary and Ernest.

I am trying to find this lass in 1911 or a marriage, whatever.... to eliminate her lot from my family.
I have a subscription for both the pay per view sites but try as I might she is eluding me.
Any clues would be appreciated.

I know the surname isn't the same but a lot of the first names and other details match.
RG14 PN31823 SN183
Sarah DAVEY (sic), 44, widow,
Samuel, son, 19,
Mary Maud, daur, 17,
Ernest, son, 14,
Adelaide, daur, 9
plus two boarders
Everyone in the family seems to have been born in something like Blaina.
Samuel has signed the form, and has clearly signed Davey.
Still searching for Gorliar/Gorham, but as Sarah says on the form that she had 5 children and one died is that one Gorliar?
There's a Lilian Davey, aged 2, death registration Bedwelty registration district June 1901. Birth registration was December quarter 1898.
No likely looking David birth registrations in Bedwelty district for 'Gorliar' around that time.
STOP PRESS: Robert Brown, boarder with the family in 1901 seems to still be boarding with the family in 1911.

Try at 24 Clock Row Blaina - FMP has them as Davey - no Gorham, but there is an Adelaide b1902

Mutley,
I think she probably died - don't know when though. Mum (now widowed) is in the 1911 census as Sarah DAVEY. 5 children born alive, 4 still living. The new one is Adelaide born 1902. Ref: RG14/PN31823/SN183. Address as in 1901 - 24 Clock Row.

Mutley did say 'just a quickie'. 23 minutes is obviously not quick enough.

I knew I just had to turn my back for five minutes (or so...) to replenish my glass and you would all sort it for me.
Thanks a bunch. (Not sure why I could not sort it myself maybe
too many!)
What do you think her name was?

Thanks jellylegs.
No idea if he is mine but I have printed out the army record and added it to my rather large 'MAYBE ERNIE' file attached to the 1911 and 1901 census information.
One day all these snippets that are being collected will help sort out the wood from the tree.
xx

I had been away looking for his Army records (they are on Ancestry. Mother must have re-married as given as next of kin - Sarah Curnew?) and when I came back there were no replies.
