Angry Charles Cave emigration to Australia

Charles Cave, wife Susannah Darby and 10 of his 11 children emigrated from Stoke-sub-Hamden (The Priory Farm) in 1849.
I have been unable to find any record of them in passenger lists. Australian National Library also struck a blank.
Is there anywhere in UK I can look or ask researchers to look?
The Somerset Archives has no record of them travelling either.
Beginning to feel like a brick wall!!!!

From Trove I see that The Register of 30 July 1925 (published in Adelaide) refers to an article in The Observer of 13/7/07 (page 26, col. 1), in which there was 'an account of a Charles Cave, who arrived here in 1849 with his wife and two sons . . . and eight daughters...'

The Observer (also published in Adelaide) isn't on the list of titles digitised on Trove. But perhaps you could track down a microfilm copy to see if the article says which ship they came on?

Hi Chris, there are a few articles about Charles Cave Esq in Trove, this one in the South Australian Register 22 Dec 1862, I can't find a death in the papers for Charles who must have died around 1860?

    Default Charles Cave emigration

From this I would believe that he came straight to SA, although this again could be wrong.

    Hello Coromandel,
Yes I wonered why I could not track that down on Trove, but I also gave that reference to the Nat Library researcher who helped me - maybe she was a learner.
I will be going to the State Library in SA in a week to do a bit more on it. (I live in the outback, South Australia)
    Bye,

    Hi Kerrywood,
Yes I have searched the 1849 lists previously.
Do you know if there are further lists to be completed?
    Cheers, Chris

    Hi There Bo Peep,

Yes I am a member and have a few queries on the site, to no avail just yet.
By the way, my family has a crest emblazoned on their old cutlery and crystal-the greyhound-saying Cave Deus Videt. I have several of the pieces.
Hugh Cave of Cave FHS told me that my family have no connection to armory to be able to have this crest. This seems odd that they have survived all this time and that my family were not after all able to own a crest????
    Regards, Chris
