Default Scottish Records for Ayrshire before 1800?

How does one go about getting birth, death and marriage records for folks born in Ayrshire prior to 1800?

I'm trying to find more information about my father's mother's side of the family.

    Surnames:
McLean, Petrie, Morton, Armstrong, Craig and probably more but I've not gotten too far with it.

    Any help/insight is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you,
    Sara
