Janet,
I wonder if I might ask where you were able to obtain your burial records from -- you cited the "Leicestershire FHS Burial Index". Were these on a CD available that you purchased through some sort of history society? Or from a government source? Or might you have looked them up locally somewhere. Having a CD or publication available to search in the future might prove fruitful in finding other family members as research continues.
Best,
Ann

Ann,
Google "Leicestershire & Rutland Family History Society", click on "Publications" and carry on from there to view their list. I purchased the Leicestershire & Rutland Burial Index 1813-1990's mainly for the Rutland burials as several of my lines hailed from Rutland but of course have the bonus of lots of Leicestershire parish burials.

Hi Ann,
It is also worth checking what is available from our sponsors, Parish Chest. I see that they have a fair number of Leicestershire parish records as well.

Many thanks to both you and Janet for the source information -- what and where to look for it. I'm hopeful to perhaps take the line beyond George and Fanny, and possibly will be able to find some clues, if not actual information through these listed sources.
Again, thank you for your kind help!
Best,
Ann
