Does anyone know if there is a Stafford family history society? The North Staffs group does not seem to go down as far as Stafford itself and I haven't seen any other groups that cover the town.

'The Birmingham and Midland Society for Genealogy and Heraldry is the principal family history society for the counties of Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire', according to its website at

It gives some links for local societies in its territory, but I can't see one for Stafford.
