hi my name is Bob Todd - I am originally from the Uk but now live in Australia.

Been tracing family tree on and off for about a dozen years, have about 400 people in my tree (?) oldest is an ancestor of my wife Samuel chapman born in 1730.

have hit a mjor brick wall with my grandmother who was born in india in 1885 to a father who was a gunner in the royal horse artillery in bangalore, my other big issue is trying to connect through to Piper laidlaw - the piper of loos in the first world war.

I was given some photos of my aussie relatives that i didn't know about - the night before I left the UK and I have managed to trace them to dalby in Qld and also turned up some WW1 and WW2 records of those that fought which i was pretty stoked about!.
