Marriage Info Richard/Lydia WALLIS

Trying to find marriage info of Richard and Lydia Wallis.
Richard Wallis of Draycott Staffs
Lydia Wallis of Hanbury Staffs.
Have them in the various censuses. ie:- 1881
Richard WALLIS .....Family Head aged 64
Lydia WALLIS .....Wife aged 65
Have searched for marriage but no avail.
Any info would be most appreciated.

I looked for a marriage via Ancestry for Richard between 1861 when his wife was shown as Elisabeth and 1871 when shown as Lydia. It showed a marriage in the March qtr 1868 in Lichfield Vol 6b page 453?. When I looked at the original image, I thought the page no was 483, so then checked the original of page 483 and a Lydia DEAKIN was shown on that page. I then looked at the 1861 census for a Lydia DEAKIN born in Staffordshire and one was shown in Maltby, Yorkshire:

Lydia DEAKIN Serv Widow 45 Laundry Maid Stafford Hanbury

This Lydia fits in pretty well with Lydia WALLIS's information in the 1871 census of Draycott so may be worth further investigation. Good luck.
