Hi,
When I was a small child I lived in 'Lambs Row, Coundon, Bishop Auckland' (nice memories). I have been searching for a picture/photo of the street as it would be a nice reminder and keepsake and an extra for my family tree.
Obviously I haven't got any myself but wondered if any readers have? Maybe someone could point me in the right direction in finding one?
By the way, Lambs Row was knocked down quite a few years ago.
Someone PLEASE help....Thanks, Lynn

Sorry Lynn,
Couldn't find any pics of Lambs Row, but did find these! There are some showing terraced houses, which may LOOK like Lambs Row!

A few interesting websites when you google Coundon but this one has a forum as well.
You may be able to find a member with photos of Lambs Row: www.

Google found this website about Bishop Auckland history:

It might be worth contacting the author to see if she knows of any old photos. There's also a forum on the site, again maybe worth a try.
