does anyone visit the Devon Record Office

It was just happenchance that I was going to Devon RO the day before alliejaye made a plea for information, so once I had mastered the microfilm machine (not a model I had come across before) and the right burial register I found the burial she was looking for!

But when I looked at 'Exeter' registration district and saw the number of parishes that were within it, reinforces all that has been said, you must give as much information as possible.................

yes sorry I wasnt trying to be vague, researching in the UK is so different to researching in australia, we are bit more simplified I think lol.
