    Default Can you help date this photo ?

    Hi all, I have 2 possible time periods that could relate to this photo, 1. around 1893 - 95, or 2. around 1920, could you help ?
    There is a lady to the left, holding the little girl, does her dress help the dating ?

    does it give any more inform on the photographer on the back , or do you know the town where it was taken.
    Then search trade diectories or there are some websites with lists of photographers.

    I have a similar photo dated 1893.

    Hi Peter.
    There is no way this photo is 1920's and without your message I would have dated it at about 1890

    Foulds Hibberd is the photographer from Seaforth, Liverpool. 1840-1940.
    There seems to be some info at the National Archives for them.
