    Default Deakins in South Staffs

I’m picking up this research after a break of several years. My Deakin family interests are centred on Thomas born 1845 in Willenhall, married Sarah Ratcliffe 1869 in Pendlebury Lancs, on the 1881 census at Watling Street, Norton Canes. I have Thomas on the 1861 census age 15 with parents John and Sarah at Willenhall and Thomas and Sarah on the 1881. I have a note that Sarah was widowed on the 1891 census but haven’t got a record of the household.

I would be grateful if anyone could find Thomas in 1851, Thomas and Sarah in 1871, Sarah in 1891 – I have no date of death for either of them.

If anyone is interested, I have quite a few birth certificates for Deakins in Staffs which are not part of my family (I got into a muddle trying to find the right family at one point)
Martha 1879 in Tunstall, father Thomas, mother Sarah formerly Hallman
Arthur 1895 in Stoke upon Trent, father John Joseph, mother Eliza formerly ???? (can't read it)
Annie 1875 in Wolstanton, father Benjamin, mother Martha formerly Pimlet
Minnie Amy 1868 in Shelton, father George, mother Hannah formerly ??? (can't read it)
Mary 1868 in Bilston, father Daniel, mother Emma formerly Brigwood ??
Mary Ann 1874 in Wolstanton, father William, mother Ann formerly Reeves
Sarah Ann 1881 in Tunstall, father Thomas, mother Sarah formerly Allman
Mary Ann 1889 in Shelton, father John, mother Sarah formerly Owen
