I am trying to get a copy [hard copy or digital image] of the trial, sentence and eventual reprieve from death sentence for Olivia Gascoigne who was tried at the Worcester Lent Assizes on the 5th March 1785. The information is held at TNA and I had approached them for a quote to supply my request electronically, but after giving them the required references, the reply was it was too involved to search and I would need to use either a private researcher or use their facilities, but as the charges are fairly steep, and I don't know what is really involved, so I was wondering if some kind person is going to the TNA and could locate the information for me.
The document references are:
ASSI 5/10/31 Trial details for Oliver [Olivia] Gascoigne for stealing 13 guineas at Severn Stoke, Oxford Circuit Indictment files, Worcestershire Lent Assizes, 1785.
HO 47/3/147 Details of recommended reprieve for Gascoigne, Hooper, Lane, Worcestershire Lent Assizes.
Olivia was eventually transported to NSW in the First Fleet, and descendants from her and her husband Nathaniel Lucas now number about 110,000, making them the largest contributors to Australia's population.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Barrie.

Hi Barrie
I don't mind having a look for you next time I go, probably won't be for a few weeks though if that's ok.

With respect, the above document reference appears to relate to proceedings in 1690. If it's the indictment that you're after, I think the document to order is ASSI 5/105/32.
For related material, which may include a summary of the trial proceedings, you might also want to look at the crown minute books in ASSI 2/25.
