    Default Causes of Death

Ages ago I found a really good website which translated into layman's terms most of the causes of death that might be found on old death certificates. Then my computer crashed and I lost all my Favourites!

I would really like to find the site again but have searched and searched with no luck.

    Can anyone help??

This one seems pretty comprehensive and gives source references which makes a refreshing change:

'Rudy's List of Archaic Medical Terms':

    P.S. typed too slowly!

There was a similar, and possibly more comprehensive, site by one Dr Paul Smith. It's gone away, but most of it is available on the Wayback Machine at:

    http://web.archive.org/web/200106031...dicalTerms.htm

If any of the selection letters in its LH panel doesn't work, the page can actually be retrived from the Wayback Machine at URLs such as:

    http://web.archive.org/web/200412100...s.org.uk/m.htm

which gets the page for diseases beginning with M. Change m.htm at the end to the letter of your choice.

I didn't go through all the archived pages to find his latest versions.
