HI;
Just wanted to let ya ' ll know I sent time & effort writing up a query on Cty/Down Forum re;- my Irish rellies
and I wanted to correct a few detail errors in typing,so I hit the 'Preview-Post' and "POOFF" went my post,!!!
I hav no clue where it went but I never found it,,,soooooooo incase it turns up in some corner you will know
where to drop it,,,I had a laugh anyway,,,,,
If it's lost I will try to re-do,,,not to worry,,,

Unfortunately after a certain amount of time you get timed out. It can be frustrating and I think it's happened to most of us.
It won't help you to get your previous work back but for future reference, if you are composing a long thread, either do it in word first and then copy and paste it into your post or copy the post before you hit the preview or submit button. That way if it goes up in smoke you can paste it back on again.

Thanks very much for your help ,this post was done first so got it in OK,I then did another one
on other family names in Cty Down and that's the one disappeared,,,,
Thanks to Graham R. who explained the reason,,I'll try not to be so long-winded next time,,,,,
