    Ah, I think you are on to something there, Kerrywood: the Bookseller for 1918 has a list (possibly of those attending a meeting at Stationers' Hall; but it is hard to tell from the snippets on Google Books) which includes
    'L. Crosslé (S.P.C.K.)'.

    Effects under £5,000

    "Letters of Administration of the personal estate of the Reverend Charles Crossle late of Kilcluney County Armagh Clerk deceased who died 18 December 1871 at same place were granted at Armagh to Elizabeth Winder Crossle (the Widow) and Henry John Crossle Esquire (the Son) both of Kilcluney (Markethill) aforesaid"

    Note: There is also probate for a John Porter Colquhoun Crossle who died on 14 March 1942.
