    "Plain an gwarry" means Playing place in Cornish and, although several towns and villages in Cornwall have somewhere with that name, it usually means the one in the Redruth area. However, there are several Plain An Gwarrys in Cornwall just to make matters confusing

    I have just starteed researching my friends family tree and her ancestors were masters in the school, Albert Browning and his father. When I next visit the area I hope to find out more information and I will let you know about it
