Can not find the sweetman children on the 1911 census?? or on free bmd yet they married at st Phillips clerkenwell! no death for Thomas Sweetman the holborn 1902 Jun quarter looks like an infant 0 years which would tie in with a birth in the same quarter.
Theory Thomas Sweetman, Thomas Colledge same person escaping creditors or similar institutionalized wife dead to protect her or to get help. Does not explain the Sweetman kids not showing on 1911 sorry I ramble will have to wait to see if the Daniel College birth cert reveals anything
I apreciate the help and your time.
    Kind regards Tim

Using the 1891 baptisms in Islington as a starting point ...

The oldest is Thomas Edward SWEETMAN, born 1882 Clerkenwell. He is easily found in 1911 in Hampshire. Search on his full name.

William SWEETMAN born 1883, married Ada COLLINS 1903 St Philip Clerkenwell. Possibly at RG14/1257 SN143 (reference to record held by TNA).

Still looking for the others ...

Some possible births are here, but further checking is needed.

Birthdates are from the baptism register of St Stephen, Canonbury (Islington), 25 Jan 1891 (from London parish registers database)

    Sep Qtr 1881
SWEETMAN Thomas William (baptised Thomas Edward)
    Islington 1b 296
    born 14 Aug 1881

    Jun Qtr 1883
    SWEETMAN William
    Holborn 1b 755
    born 22 Mar 1883

    Sep Qtr 1885
    SWEETMAN Martha
    Holborn 1b 763
    born 4 July 1885

    Mar Qtr 1888
    SWEETMAN James
    Holborn 1b 813
    born 1 Feb 1888

    Jun Qtr 1890
    SWEETMAN Annie
    Holborn 1b 714
    born 16 Mar 1890

    Sep Qtr 1892
    SWEETMAN Charles
    West Ham 4a 22
    aged 8 in 1901

    Sep Qtr 1894
    SWEETMAN Louisa May
    West Ham 4a 35
    aged 6 in 1901

In 1911, Emma said there were seven children born to the present marriage, all living.

If the above seven are they, Daniel is not included in the total. So maybe he was born outside the marriage? Just more speculation!
