I’m looking for information on family of Michael (Eguidius) Wientjes born 20 August 1914, Enschede, Overjsel, Netherlands. He emigrated to Canada post WWII, last address Enschedesestraat 124 Hengelo, Netherlands. His siblings were John, Henry, Anne and Greta.

WIENTJES, Michael
August 20, 1914- July 11, 2003 It is with great sadness and loss that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our loving and kind husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Michael came to Canada from Holland in 1947 and embarked on a number of exciting entrepreneurial adventures. He is most well known for opening Michael?s in New Westminster and Michael?s Beauty Salon on Main St. in Chilliwack.
Michael will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 48 years, Ester; his daughter, Nancy (Trevor); his son, Tom (Sue); granddaughter, Natasha (Tom); his sisters, Ann (Al) and Gerta (Gerhardt) and his brother John (Muriel). He was Opa to Calvin, Caitlin and Anna Maria. He was predeceased by his brother Henry (Rae Mary) and his first wife Sylvia in 1957.
Michael cherished his many friendships that were built over years of tennis, golf and bridge games. He also enjoyed swimming and lazy days fishing.
In respect of his wishes, no funeral service will be held.
