Although in Derbyshire, HEANOR appears in the 1861 Census for Nottinghamshire in RG9-2435.
Folio 50 Page 18 is missing from the New version of the ACDB Census set for NOTTINGHAMSHIRE 1861.
It should contain Schedules 77-79, so is not a blank page.
If anyone has the original Census set, or the Derbyshire 1861 Supplement for places in the Notts Census, I'd like to know what surnames appear on tbat page, to fill a gap in the surname index I'm working on.

Hi Frank,
I have the original Notts 1861 published by Archive CD Books but that page is missing in my copy too. It goes from schedule #76 to #80. I didn't notice it before, I haven't got that far.
Not sure if anyone has queried it with Rod but it looks as if we perhaps should.
In the meantime, perhaps someone on the Derbys. forum has access to the original?

HEANOR 1861 Census
Hi Patrisia
I've now posted the same query to the Derbyshire Forum, so may get something from there. Failing that, I could make it a formal enquiry via the Support ticket system.
Could be that this is one of the odd pages that get omitted from TNA original microfilms, or went AWOL during the actual Census itself.

The page wasn't missed off the census if you look at the Abstracts of Total page at the start of that Enuraraters district you can see page 18 has a total of 20 people on it 8 male and 12 females. So it must be somewhere or at least once was somewhere.

Thanks to all for the replies. It seems to have been a page missed out from the TNA film, (don't know if the LDS film used the same source).
I'll enquire of TNA if they have the missing page, and in the meantime there is a note on my webpage about the missing details. I had seen the Abstract of Totals page in the Census Piece, so the missing person numbers are mentioned in my note.
Thanks Myth for the other missing page info, which is now safely installed on the Fragments page, with a minimum of pruning.

Frank, if you have any success with TNA, might I beg a copy of the page?
I am transcribing Heanor 1861 for the DBY FHS and it would be helpful to make it complete.
Many thanks

for Patrisia
Hi
I didn't realise I'd got competition, but the more the merrier !!! We'll be able to compare notes. My own effort will only be for surnames (As Enumerated order first, then an Alphabetical version later)
I'm posting as I go, EDs 1 to 4 already done.
Are you doing RG9-2435 only, or the other parts of Heanor ? (its split over RG9-2431 & 2432 as well)
I'll ask TNA for permission to pass on copies if they can come up with the info.
More later. Regards.......Frank W

Hi Frank,
Well, in theory I am doing both but it has been a slow process.
I was seriously delayed last year and I have been side tracked with other things since then
but I am feeling guilty about it, so must really get back to it.
I will keep my fingers crossed for a copy of that page.
Do you have a particular interest in Heanor?
