Roberts family in Hitchin

I have a family member John Roberts b 1827 in Hitchin who married an Eliza Roberts b 1833 also from Hitchin. I have Eliza's parents Thomas and Ann but have drawn a blank so far with John's parents.
Can anyone help me with this. Martinp9

Note: There is another John Roberts in the 1841 census in Hitchin - about the same age as the above John.

I notice in the 1861 census there is a John and Eliza Roberts living in Ickleford.

Their two eldest children are Arthur Roberts, age 14 and William Roberts, age 12. All the family born in Ickleford, apart from Eliza who was born in Bedfordshire.

Better stop for the moment in case I am following the wrong family.
