    Default Middlesex county industrial school

    Hi,

    l've found my husband's GGrandfather in the Middlesex county industrial school in 1881, l've looked at his family in the same census and they all are together, so doesn't seem to be a problem with the family staying together, so l'm thinking maybe he was a naughty boy in some way he was only 14 years old at the time, l wonder does anyone know what the reasons were for placing a youngster in these schools.
