Default CLARK, Michael b. abt 1808

I'm trying to find Michael's parents and complete birthdate. He is my father's great-great grandfather. Michael was supposedly born in Dublin, Dublin about 1808.
The story is that Michael "left Ireland, when a young man as he did not want to serve in 'Ireland's Compulsory War program' " for all young males at that time. His parents were reported to be wealthy and by his conduct of running away, he was disinherited to share in any of the family's estate.
For his "running away" I apologize, because I have a very high regard for military personnel past/present/future.

    Hi Bonnie,

I have moved your post from the One Name Studies section of the forum to that for Dublin as it is more appropriate there.
