Default Coroners report 1966 isle of wight death

    Hi

Would someone have any idea how to obtain a copy of the newspaper report (if indeed it appeared in the newspaper) of a relative whose inquest into their death was held 19th May 1966?

how to obtain a copy of the newspaper report
By searching the appropriate newspapers in the British Library Newspaper Collection or the less extensive collections at Hampshire Record Office or the Isle of Wight Record Office.

If it was a matter of national interest, there are some newspaper archives on line such as The Times and The Guardian.

The relevant local archives might still have the coroner's report and they will certainly have local/county-wide newspapers of the period. Coroner's inquests were routinely reported, though you might find there's only a short paragraph. You might find if you google the relevant library service they'll be able to provide you with a photocopy.
